Strapping
Plastic strapping, a versatile packaging material, is utilized to secure and stabilize loads for shipping, storage, or handling purposes. Available in varying widths, thicknesses, and strengths, plastic strapping offers flexibility and customization to meet diverse load requirements. Polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) are the two primary types of plastic strapping, with polypropylene suited for lighter applications and polyester offering higher tensile strength for heavy-duty loads. Plastic strapping is applied manually or with strapping machines, tightened around the load, and secured with seals or buckles. It provides excellent resistance to moisture and is lightweight, making it easy to handle. Plastic strapping is extensively used across industries such as logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing to ensure the safe transportation of pallets, bundles, crates, and other packaged goods.
